Catholic
Youth Renovation Project: June 23-29
Sponsored by St. Paul Catholic Church in Mission
This year, the Office of Youth Ministry is partnering with
St. Paul Catholic Church in Mission to invite parish youth ministries to
participate in this great service project. This unique week-long high
school service experience gives young people the opportunity to live out our
Catholic teachings on social justice. Youth work in teams to help construct/reconstruct
homes for low-income families. It is a moving and impactful experience to
see our youth empowered to share their gifts and talents with others in ways
they had never imagined.
The cost is $150 per youth. Parishes are encouraged to
develop a team which consists of 7 youth, 1 young adult, 1 female adult leader
and 1 male adult leader.
